Ski PE: The Heart Of What We Do

If you’ve ever wondered what MMCF is all about, Ski PE is it.

For many kids in the Eastern Sierra, a day on the mountain isn’t guaranteed. That’s where Ski PE comes in. Through our Ski PE Grant, MMCF helps local schools offset the cost of getting students on snow—covering things like transportation, equipment, and program fees—so that every child has the opportunity to experience skiing or snowboarding, regardless of financial barriers.

This program has been a cornerstone of MMCF for years, and it continues to be one of the most impactful ways we support our community. It’s not just about learning to ski—it’s about confidence, independence, time outdoors, and creating memories that stick with kids for life.

This year, we had the chance to capture Ski PE in action through a photo shoot and an impact video, and it perfectly reflects why this program matters so much. The smiles, the determination, the pure joy—it’s all there.
