CREATIVE GIVING

  • From lodging, meals, and transportation for visiting teams, to gear, professional services, event supplies, and auction items, these contributions directly elevate the experiences we can offer our kids and our community. Every in-kind gift—large or small—helps reduce event costs, expand programming, and create meaningful opportunities for local youth. We welcome partnerships with businesses and individuals eager to make a tangible impact through the resources they already have at hand.

  • Corporate giving is a powerful way for companies to invest in the future of the Eastern Sierra by supporting MMCF’s mission to help every child thrive through athletics, academics, outdoor experiences, and wellness. Whether through direct contributions, event sponsorships, employee giving programs, or multi-year partnerships, corporate support provides essential resources that fuel our foundation.

  • Estate giving offers a meaningful way for supporters to leave a lasting legacy that uplifts future generations of Eastern Sierra youth. By including MMCF in a will, trust, or planned gift, donors help ensure long-term funding for scholarships, coaching, mental wellness initiatives, outdoor programs, and the continued growth of our mountain community. These thoughtful commitments create stability and opportunity far beyond a single lifetime.

  • Gifts of stock offer a highly effective way to support MMCF while maximizing potential tax benefits for donors. By transferring appreciated securities directly, supporters can often avoid capital gains tax while receiving a charitable deduction for the full market value—allowing their gift to make an even greater impact.

  • Rollover IRA contributions allow supporters aged 70½ or older to make a meaningful impact on MMCF directly from their retirement accounts—often with valuable tax advantages. By directing a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to MMCF, donors can satisfy all or part of their required minimum distribution while excluding the gift from taxable income.

  • MMCF is working toward building a $15 million endowment to ensure that our core programs—scholarships, academic support, outdoor experiences, and mental wellness initiatives—continue in perpetuity. A fully funded endowment provides long-term financial stability, allowing us to support Eastern Sierra youth regardless of economic shifts, fundraising fluctuations, or unforeseen challenges. Each contribution to the endowment becomes a lasting investment in future generations, creating a permanent source of strength for the families and young people who rely on MMCF. By helping us reach our $15 million goal, donors become part of a legacy that will uplift our mountain community for decades to come.

SPONSORSHIPS

Sponsoring one—or all—of MMCF’s flagship events — The Mammoth24, The Mammoth Wine Weekend, and the Mammoth Gran Fondo — is an extraordinary way for partners to align their brand with community impact, outdoor adventure, and a deeply engaged audience. Each event offers unique visibility: the energy and endurance of the 24-hour ski and snowboard relay, the elegance and celebration of Wine Weekend, and the iconic cycling challenge that draws riders from across the country.

There is a way for any brand to empower our youth, and the opportunities for meaningful storytelling and marketing feel-good impact to your audience is endless.

VOLUnTEER

Volunteering is at the heart of MMCF’s ability to serve youth across the Eastern Sierra. Every volunteer—whether helping at events, supporting academic programs, assisting with athlete development, or lending expertise behind the scenes—directly strengthens our capacity to reach more kids and deliver meaningful, high-quality experiences.

Volunteers bring energy, passion, and a sense of community that fuels our mission just as much as financial support. Their involvement reduces operational costs, expands our programs, and creates lasting connections between families, supporters, and the foundation.
