Monday, December 8, 2025The Fall/Winter application cycle will consider grant applications for programs that take place between the dates of October 1 – April 30 of the application year.

The MMCF Organizational Grant is designed to provide financial support to organizations in Inyo or Mono county that provide athletic and/or educational programming for youth.
The MMCF Organizational Grant is open for applications two times per year Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer. During that time, we encourage organizations to apply for grants to fund their programs for the coming year.
The MMCF Organizational Grant currently offers two different application periods - Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer. During that time, we encourage organizations to apply for grants to fund their programs for the coming year.
The MMCF Grants Team encourages all applicants to pick the grant application cycle that has the awarding/distribution date that is the closest to the start of their program. If you are not sure which cycle to apply in, please reach out to our staff and get a conversation started.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
The MMCF Organizational Grant is designed to support organizations based in Inyo or Mono County that are focused on projects/programs that directly support youth in the area. If your project/program does not meet those two criteria we recommend contacting us to see if it would be worth while for you to apply.
-
Grant awards may be requested in any amount, however recipient awards are typically no greater than $10,000. Grant awards may be partial.
-
MMCF receives a large number of grant applications every cycle. We recommend that applicants start early and submit the best possible application to improve their chances of funding. This is a competitive grant and not every request is able to be funded.
-
Late applications will not be considered.
-
The primary applicant must be a recognized associate of the Organization requesting funds (i.e., employee, volunteer, member, etc)
-
Applications must be complete with all necessary documentation or application will not be considered. Additional documentation may be requested after application is submitted.
-
Please submit separate applications for each grant request - do not combine multiple/different grant requests into one application.
-
Multiple applications for the same program will not be considered.
