Husky snowboarder Julia Cage took a second and third place in the final two slalom races of the regular season. Cage qualified for both the slalom and GS portions of the CNISSF 2015 Championships to be held at Mammoth March 2-5.

Mammoth athletes didn’t have to travel far this week to compete with the Rev Tour and the USSA Sunshine Cup taking place on their home turf. For those that did have to leave home, it wasn’t any farther than the Tahoe basin. Events covered this week include: Chloe Kim Named 2015 Women’s Rookie of the Year; U14s at Squaw Valley; U16-21s Race at Home: Rev Tour; and the MMS/MHS Nordic Teams Travel To Tahoe see more…

Members of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Team are asking for your help in their attempt to win the World Championship Ski Club Video Challenge and the $25,000 that goes along with it. The team was in first place out of 36 teams, however with the recent Internet outage they fell to second place.  You can vote once a day at http://woobox.com/j4q543/vote/for/5810867 or by going to Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation on Facebook. The contest ends on Feb. 14.
