LEARN TO SKATE WITH THE LA KINGS
MMCF was proud to partner with the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the LA Kings at a Learn to Skate event on January 28, at LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes.
Highlighting the brand new Olympic size ice rink, the event hosted children from our local elementary school. Professional players from the LA Kings joined forces to teach kids how to skate.
The event started off with children hugging the walls as they scooted around the rink. By the end of the event, everyone was skating and having a wonderful time.
Mascots Bailey and Woolly even joined in the fun of skating with the kids.
MMCF has new mental health initiatives and part of that is connecting our community through events like Learn to Skate.
